PTC = Paid To Click is an online business model that draws online traffic from people aiming to earn money from home. Paid-To-Click, or simply PTC websites, act as middlemen between advertisers and consumers; the advertiser pays for displaying ads on the PTC website, and a part of this payment goes to the viewer when he views the advertisement.
Profit: The amount of money you earn from your sales. For example, if you sell 10 videos at $47.00 each, and each costs $10 to produce and ship, your profit would be $37.00 per video or $370.00 total.
Revenue: Total income for your sales. For example, if you sell 50 ebooks at $27.00 each, your revenue would be $1350.00.
SPAM: The term “spam” is Internet slang that refers to unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE) or unsolicited bulk e-mail (UBE). Some people refer to this kind of communication as junk e-mail to equate it with the paper junk mail that comes through the US Mail. Unsolicited e-mail is e-mail that you did not request; it most often contains advertisements for services or products.

PTC, Referral and Survey Site Review 1 (International)

This is one of the legitimate websites that I have used to earn some extra money. Firstly, the money that you earn isn't as much and the process is quite slow.. but be assured that it actually pays! Especially for a very easy stay-at-home task!
Here are my earnings so far (Member since May 2013):
Minimum cashout and available payment methods:
Electronic cashouts (PayPal, Payza) are processed 2 times a week, on Monday and Friday afternoon, before 5PM EST but to make sure that it will payout into your account, request the cashout before 2PM of those days.
It's mainly Pay-To-Click and the process is quite simple. Click on one of those ads and there will be a selection of dogs and cats, click on the cat, wait for the countdown time and you will be rewarded between $0.001 up to $0.02!
There is also an offers page with easy surveys! Usually $0.85 per survey or possibly more!
I've became a premium member ($17 USD per year) to view more ads. The $17 came from the money I made through the same site offers and surveys but you don't really need to have a premium account to earn cash, it is just to make more PTC ads appear on the page.
They have high amounts of surveys everyday and most chances it that it will instantly credit you after you are eligible and fully completed the survey. Remember to put real details else there will a ban hammer!
